Since they were established in 1895, the DANÆG Group has stayed true to its original mission of the farmer cooperative as the foundation and a vision of bringing the highest quality foods to dining tables around the world.
Today, DANÆG has almost 40 Danish farmers, many of whom are based in southern Denmark and southern Jutland. Each one has a unique story about how they started producing eggs. They offer complete traceability around where each egg has been produced, down to the name of the farmer.
The hens are fed with GMO-free feed and the entire production process is antibiotic-free. Their Danish producers adhere to strict standards of food safety, health and animal welfare and are awarded with certificates like the EU Organic Logo, Environment Management System ISO 140001 and many more.
