Festive Chicken Roast Stuffed with Sausage and Apple

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix sausage meat, diced apples, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs, and herbs.
  3. Stuff cavity generously.
  4. Rub chicken with olive oil, the other half of the thyme, salt & pepper.
  5. Roast at 180°C for 2 hrs 20 mins, until stuffing reaches a safe temperature.
  6. Let it rest for about 20 minutes. Slice, serve with stuffing tumbling out warmly.
