Vegan Tempeh Chickpea Burgers
Ingredients
Organic Chickpea Tempeh
romaine lettuce leaves
vegan buns, split in half
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 large red onion, sliced
Vegan cheese, sliced

 

From Your Pantry
1 tbsp Oilala Extra Vigin Olive Oil
Tomato sauce
Yellow mustard 
Vegan mayonnaise

 

Method
  1. Slice Tempeh into desired burger patty size.
  2. Put some olive oil on the skillet and pan fry tempeh over medium-low heat for a few minutes, flip burger patties and top with slices of vegan cheese.
  3. Cover skillet with a lid (to melt the cheese) and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Transfer patties to a plate and keep warm.
  5. Add the bread rolls to the skillet over medium heat, and brown for about 1-2 minutes per side.
  6. Top toasted burger buns with salad, patties and condiments of choice.
