Italian parsley, or flat-leaf parsley, has a fresh, clean taste. Slightly peppery, with a hint of citrus, clove, and nutmeg, the addition of Italian parsley to a recipe lends vibrancy to the dish and helps to bring out the flavours of the other ingredients.
