Pork Meatball Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 400g spaghetti

Meatballs

  • 500g pork mince
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 40g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 30g Parmesan, finely grated
  • Salt and black pepper

Sauce

  • 500g marinara sauce
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Mix all meatball ingredients until just combined, roll into golf-ball-sized meatballs, and place on a lined tray.
  2. Bake meatballs for 15–18 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.
  3. Cook spaghetti in well-salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  4. Warm marinara sauce in a wide pan over medium heat, add baked meatballs, and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  5. Add spaghetti with a splash of pasta water, toss to coat, and serve with extra Parmesan.
