Serving Size: 2
Ingredients
- 250g Wicks Manor English Pork Stir Fry
- 1 tbsp neutral oil (vegetable or sunflower)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1½ tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce (optional, for colour)
- 1 tsp sugar or honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- 1 spring onion, sliced (optional garnish)
To serve:
- Steamed rice or cooked noodles
Instructions:
- Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat until very hot. Add the oil and swirl to coat.
- Add the pork in a single layer. Let it sear undisturbed for 1–2 minutes until lightly browned, then stir-fry for another 2 minutes until just cooked.
- Add the garlic and ginger. Stir constantly for 30 seconds until fragrant — don’t let them burn.
- Pour in the light soy, dark soy (if using), sugar, and sesame oil. Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes, letting the sauce coat the pork and reduce slightly.
- Remove from heat, garnish with spring onions if using, and serve immediately over hot rice or noodles.
