Roasted Red Snapper in Tamari

Roasted Red Snapper in Tamari

Serves: 2

Ingredients
2 Red Snapper Fillets (or any white fish)
1 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
1 tbsp rice wine or sherry
1 tsp of grated ginger
3 thinly sliced spring onions
Grated garlic (optional)
A dash of sesame oil
Sea salt & pepper to taste

Method

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients together in a bowl.  I like using tamari as it contains less wheat than soy sauce and is less salty.
  2. Season the fish with salt & pepper and place in a hot 220 degree oven and roast for a minute or so, then take out and cover in the sauce and put back in the oven for another few minutes until the fish has just cooked through.  Serve with rice and greens.
