Native MD2 pineapples grown on the farm are processed to extract digestive enzymes (bromelain), which are fed to the chickens. This farming innovation yields meat that is leaner, juicier, and more nutritious. The birds are naturally raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones.

Note that our fresh chicken has a five-day shelf life after processing. However, we recommend you freeze it when it is delivered if you are not going to consume it within 1 day of receipt. We give this advice because we have no control over the temperature of our customers' domestic fridges.
The chicken feed consists of organic feed material containing corn, wheat barley, and soybeans.

Harvested chicken manure is recycled back into the pineapple fields, nourishing the soil naturally and reducing chemical inputs.
