Established in 2017, Aquaculture Centre of Excellence (ACE) is a Singapore-based organisation who have built their own 1,344 square-metre closed-containment fish farm called Eco-Ark. They aim to revolutionise fish farming with an eco-friendly, cost effective and sustainable method; allowing fresh and healthy fish to be readily available to consumers. They responsibly raise fish in chemical-free conditions, using a sustainable, game-changing technology as an alternative to traditional fish farming. Fishes from ACE are also Friend of the Sea certified. When I visited the farm, I was impressed by the level of care and devotion the team at ACE put in for their fishes, as well as the innovation and determination to develop the most efficient and sustainable technology on their farm.
